Effect of Working Ability and Disipline the Performance of Employees in PT. Indri Peranap Plant Indragiri Hulu District

The objective of this research is to determine the impact of work ability and discipline on employee performance at PT. Indri Plant in Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. Additionally, the study aims to identify the dominant influence between work ability and discipline on employee performance at the mentioned company. Quantitative methods were employed to analyze the variables and their effect on employee performance. The research utilized data analysis techniques such as multiple linear regression, coefficient, correlation, coefficient of determination, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing with the assistance of SPSS version 21. The multiple linear regression analysis resulted in the equation Y = 3.231 + 0.347 X1 + 0.408 X2. Furthermore, the correlation coefficient analysis revealed a strong and positive relationship (R value of 0.63) between work ability, discipline, and employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R2) was calculated at 0.406, indicating that work ability and discipline collectively contribute to 40.6% of the variance in employee performance at PT. Indri Plant in Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency.
