The Role of Innovative Work Behavior in Mediating Transformational Leadership and Organizational Culture on Task Performance at the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Health

Task performance is an important aspect of individual performance that emphasizes the employee's abilities and talents in carrying out tasks. Task performance can be applied in evaluating the performance of civil servants based on the achievement of individual performance targets. The duties of employees of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Health are considered to have not achieved the expected targets, which has an impact on the achievement of organizational targets. This research aims to see the influence of transformational leadership and organizational culture on task performance, with innovative work behavior as a mediator. There were 871 employees in the study's population. Sampling used the hair method to obtain 170 respondents. The probability sampling method is used in conjunction with a simple random sampling strategy to determine the number of samples. Data analysis using PLS-SEM with the Smart-PLS application version 4.0. The research results show that innovative work behavior is positively and significantly impacted by organizational culture and transformational leadership. Transformational leadership and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on task performance. Task performance is not significantly affected by innovative work behavior. Innovative work behavior does not significantly mediate the indirect influence of transformational leadership and organizational culture on task performance.
