Keywords:
Work Capability, Work Motivation, Organizational Commitment, Employee EngagementAbstract
This study aims to examine and explain the impact
of job competence, work motivation, and
organizational commitment on the performance of
Licensed Cadastral Surveyors and Assistant
Cadastral Surveyors (SKB/ASKB) using
employee engagement as a mediating variable.
The research method employed is quantitative
with a causal associative approach. Data were
collected cross-sectionally using a questionnaire
as the instrument. The research population
consists of all Licensed Cadastral Surveyors and
Assistant Cadastral Surveyors (SKB/ASKB) in the
Regional Office of the National Land Agency of
Southeast Sulawesi Province, totaling 89
individuals. Considering the relatively small
population size and respondents' knowledge of
the variables under study, the entire population
was utilized as respondents. Hypothesis analysis
was conducted using Partial Least Squares (PLS).
The research findings indicate that job
competence, work motivation, and organizational
commitment have a positive influence on
employee engagement. Moreover, employee
engagement also has a positive impact on the
performance of SKB/ASKB. Furthermore,
employee engagement acts as a partial mediation
between job competence and work motivation
towards the performance of SKB/ASKB while
serving as a complete mediation between
organizational commitment and the performance
of SKB/ASKB
