The Effect of YouTube Content Exposure in School-Age Children on Parents' Attitudes Towards Accompanying Children Using Gadgets (Influence Study on Parents of Elementary School-Age Children 6-12 Years)

This study aims to examine the effect of exposure to YouTube content on school-age children on parents' attitudes in assisting children to use gadgets. This study was conducted in Bandung City, with a focus on parents who have elementary school-aged children (6-12 years old). The quantitative method was used with a survey through a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The results showed a significant influence between exposure to YouTube content, especially duration, attention, and type of content, on parents' attitudes in accompanying children using gadgets. The findings provide important insights for parents, educators, and policy makers in designing effective mentoring strategies in the digital era.
