The purpose of this study was to determine and
describe the level of validity, level of practicality,
and level of effectiveness of the development of
interactive multimedia based on scratch on flatsided geometric shapes in improving student
learning outcomes. The research method is
Research and Development (R&D) using the
ADDIE model, the stages of the study are: (1)
Analyze, (2) Design, (3) Develop, (4) Implement,
(5) Evaluate. The results of the study showed that
the interactive multimedia developed was in valid
criteria, reviewed from the average validity of
media experts of 80%, material experts 80%, and
language experts 100%. The practicality value was
obtained by 91% from the student response
questionnaire and 94% from filling out the
observation sheet of product implementation by
observers in the practical category. Based on the
results of the student test to determine the
effectiveness of multimedia followed by 25
students, the N-Gain score was obtained as 0.75.
The level of effectiveness in the high criteria.
Therefore, it can be concluded that interactive
multimedia based on scratch is declared valid,
practical, and effective for use in learning in class
VIII of Junior High School
