This study investigates the impact of work conflict on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The research was conducted among 71 employees at a higher education institution, using a questionnaire-based survey and Likert scale for measurement. Path analysis was applied to assess the relationships between work conflict, job satisfaction, and employee performance. The findings reveal that work conflict has a negative but non-significant effect on both job satisfaction and employee performance. However, job satisfaction shows a positive and significant influence on employee performance. These results highlight the crucial role of job satisfaction in driving employee performance, despite the presence of work conflict. Implications for organizational conflict management and efforts to enhance employee satisfaction are discussed
