Abstract

Short circuit fault analysis is very important for installation, planning of electric power system. This short circuit can be prevented or secured with safety devices such as CB (Circuit Breaker), Fuse and other safety devices. In this short circuit study it is very important to analyze short circuit faults that occur in the electric power system. The method used to analyze short circuit faults is using the ETAP 12.6 method. ETAP software is an application to simulate short circuit faults. ETAP 12.6 can also be used to determine the maximum value that occurs in electric power system faults
