The Role of Corporate Communication in Implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policies (Case Study of PT. Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama Jobsite Geo-Aje)

This study was conducted to determine the role of corporate communication of PT. BUMA in implementing CSR policies on aspects of social responsibility and society. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with key informants of village heads, community leaders, IER foremen, BUMA external SPV, BUMA business managers, and BUMA project managers. The data collection method was carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation of activities carried out by BUMA's CSR company. The conclusion obtained from this study is that corporate communication plays a very important role in implementing corporate social responsibility in BUMA Jobsite Geo-Aje. In addition, the perception of the mining community towards mining companies operating in their areas is still considered to be damaging to the environment and does not directly benefit from the existence of the company
