Efforts of Women Rubber Farmers in Improving the Economy Families in Pujud Village, Pujud District Rokan Hilir District

Abstract

This research was motivated by seeing the difficulty of meeting needs In today's economy, wives have to work to be able to do it help increase income. Necessities required with The income you get doesn't look goodisis. The aim of this research is to find out how the activities of rubber farmer workers work women in helping to meet the economic needs of families in the village Pujud, Pujud District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This research was conducted with using a qualitative approach and data collection methods using observation, interviews and documentation methods. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive techniques with data reduction and exposure stages data, and data presentation. The number of informants used in this research was: about five people, each of whom has an activity as rubber farmer workers. The reason why women work in two sectors is as housewife and as a rubber farmer laborer is to add family income to meet living needs and is influenced by low education and do not have sufficient skills to work in other fields. The results of this research show that there is the success of women who work as rubber farmer laborers help meet the family's economic needs. Success can be seen from being able to fulfill the family's economic needs after women have children efforts to work as a female rubber farmer
