The Effectiveness of Ergonomic Exercises Against Joint Pain With Osteoarthritis in the Elderly in Dawuhan Village, Poncokusumo District

Changes in the elderly, especially those related to the musculoskeletal system, cause health problems, one of which is joint pain. Joint pain in the elderly can be treated with non-pharmacological therapy, ergonomic exercises. This research used a pre-experimental design method with one group pretest posttest, using total sampling with a total of 20 respondents. The research results showed a mean of 20.50, a maximum of 25.00, and a standard deviation of 2.13 in the pre-test. Meanwhile, in the post-test, the mean was 12.85, the maximum was 16.00 and the standard deviation was 2.53. From the research data, it can be concluded that there is effectiveness of ergonomic exercises on joint pain with osteoarthritis in the elderly in Dawuhan village, Poncokusumo district with a P value of 0.000 or (< 0.05)
