Globalization is nothing new today. Globalization is the process of entering a world where the whole world has access to information and other things. In our daily lives, globalization can have positive and negative impacts, but that is what Acehnese culture means. The unique customs that are rooted in each region need to be firmly maintained so that they are not lost due to globalization. Globalization can cause individuals and groups to unknowingly abandon old cultures in favor of new cultures and styles that tend to be simpler. This causes a lack of interest in the younger generation who want to inherit and preserve Indonesian culture. This type of research is qualitative using interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Therefore, the results and objectives of this research are to create a diverse cultural environment and transmit and preserve local culture to the younger generation, especially at MTsN Model 1 Banda Aceh. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to understanding the impact of globalization on culture and how it works, as well as finding ways to maintain globalization
